MITRE's Cyber InfrastructureDepartment is seeking a Project Leaderto provide direct support toAirCombat Command (ACC) A2/3/5/6.The successful candidate will lead a growing 2.5 staff year project, working directly with the ACC to develop Offensiveand Defensive Cyber Operations (OCO/DCO) requirements that will shape Cyber asa warfighting domain and protect and defend the AF network from intrusion andattack.

Key Functions:

  • Lead an experienced team of engineers and theirongoing efforts to:(1) develop concepts that will lead to cyberoperational capabilities and (2) generate requirements that will be processedthrough the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS).

  • Execute work program across the AF and DoDcyber portfolios, ensuring a consistent and unified approach to cyber,leveraging best practices from System Security Engineering (SSE) and experiencesin OCO/DCO.

  • Develop written products, executive-levelpresentations, technical reports, and prototypes that demonstrate novelsolutions to sponsor problems

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the AF Cyber domain organizations and stakeholders

  • Proven ability to effectively lead a complex task/project

  • Knowledge of advanced cyber threats and adversary methodologies

  • Understanding of Information Assurance aspects of cybersecurity (NIST 800-53, SANS Top 20, etc.)

  • Understanding of resiliency concepts as applied to Cyber Operations (Resiliency controls of NIST 800-53)

  • Experience with networks, network security, and related technologies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI clearance (or eligible)

  • BS and 8 years of related experience
