MITRE's Cyber InfrastructureDepartment is seeking a Project Leaderto provide direct support toAirCombat Command (ACC) A2/3/5/6.The successful candidate will lead a growing 2.5 staff year project, working directly with the ACC to develop Offensiveand Defensive Cyber Operations (OCO/DCO) requirements that will shape Cyber asa warfighting domain and protect and defend the AF network from intrusion andattack.
Lead an experienced team of engineers and theirongoing efforts to:(1) develop concepts that will lead to cyberoperational capabilities and (2) generate requirements that will be processedthrough the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS).
Execute work program across the AF and DoDcyber portfolios, ensuring a consistent and unified approach to cyber,leveraging best practices from System Security Engineering (SSE) and experiencesin OCO/DCO.
Develop written products, executive-levelpresentations, technical reports, and prototypes that demonstrate novelsolutions to sponsor problems
Strong knowledge of the AF Cyber domain organizations and stakeholders
Proven ability to effectively lead a complex task/project
Knowledge of advanced cyber threats and adversary methodologies
Understanding of Information Assurance aspects of cybersecurity (NIST 800-53, SANS Top 20, etc.)
Understanding of resiliency concepts as applied to Cyber Operations (Resiliency controls of NIST 800-53)
Experience with networks, network security, and related technologies
TS/SCI clearance (or eligible)
BS and 8 years of related experience
